What We Do

The Bellbrook Sugarcreek Family Resource Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that gives food, clothing, school supplies, holiday gifts, assistance with social services, guidance, and hope to local families and individuals in need. We listen to people's problems, help them develop an action plan, and walk with them on their journey to sufficiency. We also refer them to other organizations that may be able to help. Our goal is to help people find sustainable solutions to end the cycle of poverty.

We also work closely with the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek schools. If a guidance counselor or teacher learns that a student doesn't have enough food, clothing, or school supplies, we immediately bring the needed items to school to discretely send home with the child in their back pack.

If you live in Bellbrook, Sugarcreek Township, or nearby areas and need help, contact us today at info@bsfrc.org! Our services are free and confidential.

Who We Are

The Family Resource Center is run by the community. Generous volunteers come every week to stock the food pantry, sort donated clothing, clean, and assist clients. Churches, schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, and individual community members donate food, household necessities, clothing, and money. The jrROTC collects food for us in the fall. The Boy Scouts collect food for us in the spring. Panera and Kroger donate bread and goodies to us every week.  Many of the clients we serve also come to volunteer.  We are "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" and work to make our community a better place. If you would like to volunteer with us, please fill out our Volunteer Application.
